Possibly Flash Flood Warning! SHERIFF VICTOR HILL

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Clayton County
At 300 PM EST, law enforcement and Emergency Management in several
districts have reported flash flooding and road closures across
the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and
an additional one to two inches is possible. River, creek, and
small stream flooding will continue well after rain has ended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your public safety when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
