INCIDENT: PC 417.4 - Brandishing a Replica Firearm

LOCATION: Etiwanda Preserve

SUSPECT: Ruanglek Teerayakor, 44-years-old of Fontana

Summary:
On February 6, 2020 at 2:43 pm, police dispatch received a call from a witness who said he heard two shots fired in the distance. As he proceeded to the restroom, he saw a male pointing an assumed handgun toward an empty field and fired two more shots. As deputies arrived at the location, they observed a male who matched the suspect description attempting to leave the parking lot in a 2012 gray Ford Fusion. Deputies ordered the suspect out of the vehicle and identified him as Ruanglek Teerayakor. Deputies began their investigation and discovered two replica handguns in the trunk of his vehicle along with numerous simulated munitions. A record check revealed Teerayakor was arrested on January 11, 2020 for similar charges in Rancho Cucamonga and again a few days later in Fontana.
