Deputies arrested a teenage boy from Camarillo & 18-year-old Tyre Clark of Adelanto for strong arm robbery

Tyre Deshawn Clark, 18-year old Adelanto resident
VICTIM: Confidential adult female
SUMMARY: On February 19, 2020, deputies with the Victorville Police Department responded to a strong-arm robbery in the 17100 block of Hesperia Road. Multiple callers reported the female victim was walking in the parking lot of Victor Valley Town Center when she was pushed to the ground by an unknown male. The suspect took her purse and fled, as a passenger, in a maroon Nissan Altima.
With information provided by the victim and witnesses, deputies located the involved vehicle on Hesperia Road, near Batson Place. The vehicle was occupied by the male suspect who took the victim’s purse, identified as a 14-year old male, and a second male suspect, identified as Tyre Deshawn Clark, the driver. The stolen purse was recovered from the car and both suspects were positively identified.
The 14-year old suspect was booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for strong arm robbery. Clark was booked at High Desert Detention Center for strong arm robbery.
The victim was not injured in the incident.
