INCIDENT: WEAPONS CHARGES

LOCATION: 9100 Block of Del Rosa Rd., in the county area

SUSPECT(S): Huthifa Ayad Abdulsalam, 20 years-old, of Spring Valley Lake

SUMMARY:
On Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 6:22 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station received a call regarding a male subject, Huthifa Ayad Abdulsalam, refusing to leave a residence in the 9100 block of Del Rosa Road. Abdulsalam was at the residence to confront his girlfriend for breaking up with him.

As Deputy A. Collins arrived at the residence he saw Abdulsalam and a female adult talking near the back of a gray sedan. As Abdulsalam saw Deputy Collins approaching, he quickly walked to the passenger side of the vehicle and squatted down, placing something by the rear tire. Deputy Collins found a loaded handgun by the rear tire.

Huthifa Ayad Abdulsalam was arrested without incident for being in possession of a loaded firearm. He was booked at High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
