At approximately 3:03pm, officers were sent to the 600 block of George St for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, Officers located a 69 year old male Green Bay resident with a stab wound to his lower abdomen. The male was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained and is in stable condition. Green Bay Police have taken a 55 year old male Green Bay resident into custody for this incident. This was not a random act and Green Bay Police do not believe there is any threat to the community. The police continue to interview those involved and our forensic unit is processing evidence. This investigation is ongoing and there will be no further information released at this time.
