AVOID Gilman between 2nd and 5th Sts. for the next several hours due to traffic incident. Some roads closed. 
Berkeley Police advises you to AVOID Gilman St. between 2nd and 5th due to a traffic collision. A vehicle crash near Gilman St. and 2nd St. has closed Gilman and will require a detour of traffic for the next several hours. There is a power pole that has been damaged and PG&E will not be on scene until after 0700. Restoration of normal traffic will not occur until at least mid morning.
