If #2 on the top ten most wanted thought he had at a 15 day reprieve of not having to worry about being captured, he like many other criminals in Clayton County found out the hard way that they have been sadly mistaken.  Earlier this morning, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad successfully took Misael Alvear Villanueva into custody at a location he was found hiding at in Riverdale without incident.  

Villanueva made #2 on Sheriff Victor Hill’s top ten most wanted on December 19th, 2019, for attempting to run over a Sheriff’s Deputy at a road block.  Villanueva fled the scene at speeds in excess of 100 mph, weaving in and out of traffic with no regard to the safety of the public.  Villanueva is charged with Aggravated Assault Against Peace Officer, Reckless Driving, Driving-Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, and Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers by Use of Threats or Violence.  

Villanueva is now at “The Hill-ton” facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
