Good Afternoon,

The standing shelter-in-place order from the Health Officer has officially been extended to 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2020. The order has been updated and can be found at: https://cchealth.org/coronavirus/pdf/2020-0331-Health-Officer-Order-COVID19.pdf. The updated order has provided clarification on some items and added some new requirements. It is vital that we observe the order in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.

The city parks remain open but the bathroom facilities and play structures are closed. People are encouraged to use the parks but must observe the social distancing guidelines. Therefore, contact sports such as soccer, basketball, and football are not permitted, except by members of the same family.

If you have questions regarding the order and its provisions, you can check the County Health FAQ page located at https://www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/frequently-asked-questions or call the Contra Costa County Public Health COVID-19 hotline at 1(844) 729-8410.
