OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING
On August 3
rd 2020 at approximately 2:25 PM, Culver City Police Dispatch received a call of an armed male White suspect in the area of 8850 Washington Blvd. Upon their arrival, Culver City Police Officers encountered the armed suspect. After a standoff, an officer involved shooting occurred. One Culver City Police Officer was struck by gunfire. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The suspect was also struck by gunfire; he did not survive. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department along with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident.
