Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Black adult. The incident was reported Thursday, October 28, 2021, at approximately 9:15 P.M., on the 1400 block of W. 96th street in unincorporated Los Angles.
Detectives have learned, deputies from the South Los Angeles Station deputies responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival, deputies located the victim, a male Black, approximately 30 years of age, suffering from several gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
There is no known motive or suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available.
