On 09/06/2010, at approximately 9:30AM, the Palos Heights Police Department responded to a personal injury hit and run accident behind 12357 S Harlem Ave, which involved a pedestrian.

The victim was walking southbound along the private drive behind 12357 S Harlem, when she was struck in the arm by a vehicle traveling southbound on the private drive. The victim was struck by the vehicle’s passenger side mirror, which pushed it in. The vehicle slowed momentarily and then accelerated from the scene, last seen eastbound 125th St from 71st Ct.

The offending vehicle is described as a late 90’s model Hyundai, medium blue in color, with low headrests, driven by a male white subject with short hair, and possibly short in height as it appeared the driver was sitting low and looking between the steering wheel. The victim was transported to Palos Community Hospital.
