Tyrone PD warns citizens to be aware of a new phone scam suggesting their debit card has been compromised. 
Reports are starting to come in that people are being advised via an automated phone call that their South Crest and/or Southern Federal debit cards have been compromised. The call then asks for the victim to "dial 1 for the fraud department." The program will then ask for the victim's debit card number and PIN. If you receive any such calls, please hang up and contact your bank or dial the number printed on the back of your card.
