The City of Painesville presents the City’s Annual
Community Picnic on Saturday,
September 11, 2010. The event will take place in the City’s beautiful premiere Kiwanis Recreation Park in Painesville from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. All residents, churches, scouts and community groups are invited to come out and enjoy the day with their neighbors and friends at the City’s largest park located at the intersection of Latimore and Mill Streets.
This year’s Community Picnic features canoe rides on the pond, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, disc golf, traditional picnic games such as the water balloon toss, corn hole, sack races, limbo and much more. Take a relaxing walk along the Riverview walking path and take advantage of the playgrounds, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, and basketball court. A local DJ will provide music. Pack a lunch, have a picnic and enjoy all
we have to offer?
The first 100 people who come to the Community picnic will receive a free admission tickets to Lake Erie College’s opening football game, which begins at 1:00 pm. Lake Erie College vs. Michigan Tech on September 11. The P- Games Skate Park Competition will be taking place at the skate park for those ages 12 and up beginning at noon.
