Join the North Richland Hills Police Department in celebrating the 27th annual National Night Out crime, drug, and violence prevention program on the evening of October 5, 2010. National Night Out is an annual worldwide event that brings together citizens, law enforcement agencies, local officials, and local businesses to increase anti-crime awareness and strengthen community partnerships.
National Night Out is designed to:
• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights and gather with their neighbors to show unity against criminal activity. Please contact the NRH Police Department at 817-427-7021 to register your neighborhood event.
