On 09/14/2010 Delanco Police arrested Joseph Opal Jr. (age 29) of 321 Rancocas Avenue, Delanco for breaking into the Delanco Market located on the 300 block of Burlington Avenue. Police responded at 9:51 pm after receiving a tip from a resident and upon police arrival police observed forced entry was gained through the store’s rear door. After making entry into the store, Sgt. DeSanto who received assistance from the Riverside Police Department and Beverly City Police Department did locate Mr. Opal inside the store and learned he was in possession of Burglar Tools. This was the second time the store was broken into this week. Mr. Opal was charged with Burglary; Criminal Mischief; Possession of Burglar Tools; and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and was lodged in the Burlington County Detention Facility in lieu of $35,000.00 No 10% Permitted.
