The Palos Heights Police Department wants to remind you that the Monarch Butterfly Festival is happening at Lake Katherine on Sunday, September 19, 2010, from 11:00AM-4:30PM.

Mark your calendar today, because you don't want to miss Lake Katherine's "buggiest" event of the year. Come and see the spectacular butterflies, and don't forget the other fun, food and frolic for an entire day of family fun. Any child in a butterfly/insect costume will receive a free gift bag (while supplies last). Cost: There is a small admission fee. Proceeds benefit the educational programs, animal care and habitat restoration at Lake Katherine.

There will be increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area so please use extra caution.
