Going on vacation or an out of town business trip?

The Van Police Department encourages residents to utilize our Home Security Watch program to help prevent criminal opportunity while you are away. The Van Police Department has been utilizing this program over the past few years as a public service to our citizens. We have had tremendous feedback on the program.

As time permits, our officers will check on homes for short periods of time. This program is NOT available to vacant homes or residences where family/friends might be temporarily visiting in your absence. Please contact the Van Police Department or come by City Hall and fill out a request.
