Claven L. Crockett, 61, arrested 09/23/10 for burglary to St. Dennis Recycling, 1956 Royce Ave. 
On 09/23/10 at approximately 3:11 a.m., Town of Beloit Officers responded to 1956 Royce Ave. for a report of a burglary in progress. At the scene, officers found Claven L. Crockett, 61, of Beloit, in the process of burglarizing scrap metal from the business located there, St. Dennis Recycling. Crockett was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit by Town of Beloit Sergeant Rick Felger and City of Beloit Police Officer Jeff Bown.
Crockett is being held in the Rock County Jail on charges of Burglary. Crockett is accused of attempting to steal approximately 75 lbs. of copper and approximately 5 lbs. of aluminum.
