AEPD Apprehends Individual Wanted for Armed Robbery 
Last evening (09-22-10) at approximately 5:30PM, an AEPD officer made a traffic stop on Covington Highway. While running a crime computer check of the driver it was learned that the subject had warrants and was wanted for Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault by the Sandy Springs Police Department.
The subject was taken into custody on Avondale Estates Police charges and Sandy Springs warrants; other possible charges are pending. Investigation continues by AEPD and Sandy Springs Investigation Units.
