We have several reports of phone calls telling people their debit card has been placed on hold and to call 678-... to release it. This is a scam in which the victim, when they call the phone number and enter their number, unintentionally give the scammer their number. Always verify phone numbers (by the phone book or known bank website or other legitimate source) and call your bank directly. Never use the phone number they provide you to call back on. Make sure if you have fallen victim to this scam, to get with your bank immediately and report it.
