On September 29, 2010 the Delanco Township Police Department recieved information that a communication scam was circulating in Delanco Township via fax communications. Delanco Police have identified the communication as a scam and are urging residents to treat it as a scam and not to transfer any money or send any communications to this subject.

The scam is being sent from an individual identifying himself as Cahrles Taylor (JNR) and he is identifying himslef as the son of the former president of Liberia. In the fax communication, he is advising that his father has left him $177 million dollars and that his father wants him to invest the money in the United States of America. Mr. Taylor further advises that he is willing to give any person 30% of the total funds and 10% of the profit for their assistance and request anyone willing to assist to forward all their contact information to him via fax.

Once again, anyone who recieves such communications is urged to treat it as a scam. Anyone with any questions is asked to contact the Delanco Township Police Department.
