...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT
THURSDAY...

A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT
THURSDAY.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK NORTHWARD UP THE MIDDLE ATLANTIC
COAST TONIGHT AND THURSDAY. AS THE LOW MOVES NORTHWARD... THE
GRADIENT WILL INCREASE BRINGING STRONG WINDS ACROSS THE AREA.

THE STRONG WINDS JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE ARE EXPECTED TO MIX
DOWN...ESPECIALLY IN ANY HEAVIER RAIN OR THUNDERSTORMS. SUSTAINED
WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO
OCCUR FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON... WITH THE HIGHEST
GUSTS ALONG THE COAST AND BAYS. AS THE SYSTEM MAKES ITS WAY
NORTHWARD...THE WINDS WILL START TO DECREASE INTO THURSDAY
EVENING.

THE STRONG WIND GUSTS MAY TAKE DOWN TREE LIMBS AND UTILITY WIRES.
TREES MAY COME DOWN DUE TO THE SATURATED GROUND.

ALSO...THESE CONDITIONS ALONG WITH LEAVES STILL REMAINING ON THE
TREES MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO OCCUR WITH BELOW ADVISORY WINDS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
