Full Notification

Welcome to the Cleona Borough Police Department Nixle service. The Police Department has partnered with Nixle in an attempt to supply our residents with information related to department events, crime alerts and other pertinent information.

There may be circumstances that preclude us from making timely notifications using the Nixle system because not every resident has enrolled in this free service. The probability is greater of notifying more citizens by using the local newspapers to make community notifications specifically for crime alerts. This will enable us to get this important information to both our residents and citizens in other local communities.

An example of this type of notification was used for the recent burglaries occurring in Cleona. The burglary alert was not made through Nixle but was released through the Lebanon Daily News in two separate reports.

Residents should take steps to ensure that doors and windows in vehicles and homes are locked. If you witness any suspicious activity in you neighborhood please call 911.

Nixle is still relatively new in Cleona but we are hopeful that more residents will sign up to utilize this important service.
