Just after 3am, Chula Vista Fire Department sprang into action to battle a fire in a residential neighborhood (4th Avenue and Montgomery Street vicinity). The early morning blaze destroyed several out-buildings and a motorhome--located in the backyard of a single-family home. The fire was contained to these accessory structures and the vehicle; quick suppression efforts kept the fire from spreading to neighboring homes. Two minor injuries occurred as a result of this fire, both people were treated on-scene and released. At this time, the fire is under investigation.
