Notice of Construction on N. Williamston Road

From the Marathon Gas Station north to Industrial Park Drive
Notice Date: 10/05/10

Construction on N. Williamston Road is expected to begin later this week or early next week. The work will be performed in 2 stages:

1) Road reconstruction between Industrial Park Drive south to the entrance into Tractor Supply Company. Through traffic will be detoured via Industrial Park Drive to Linn Road. Local traffic will be maintained to the property owners within these limits. This work is expected to take approximately 4-5 weeks.

2) Milling and resurfacing from the entrance drive into Tractor Supply south to the Marathon Gas Station. This work is estimated to take about one week to complete. Williamston Road will not be closed during this operation, but traffic will be flagged, so some delays are to be expected.

The project is anticipated to be completed in late-November, but the time frames are approximate and will be influenced by weather conditions the later the work extends. It is possible that final paving may not occur until Spring 2011.
