26th Annual Aids Walk L.A., October 17, 2010. Wilshire Street Closures.
The Aid's Walk will result in several HARD CLOSURES within Wilshire Division. The walk will enter Wilshire Division At La Cienega Boulevard and Romaine Street. The route will head East on Melrose and then South onto La Brea Avenue. The route then turns West onto Beverly Boulevard. The walk will continue West until it crosses La Cienega Boulevard and re-enters the City of West Hollywood.
Melrose Avenue will be closed both East and West from La Cienega to La Brea Avenue. NO traffic will be allowed to cross Melrose Avenue except at the below listed controlled intersections.
La Brea Avenue will be closed both North and South from Melrose Avenue to Beverly Boulevard. No traffic will be allowed to cross La Brea Boulevard except at the below listed controlled intersections.
Beverly Boulevard will be closed both East and West from La Brea to La Cienega Boulevard. NO traffic will be allowed to cross Beverly Boulevard except at the below listed intersections.
There are 11 intersections that will be controlled by the Los Angeles DOT to allow access to and from the closed area. The 11 intersections are,
Melrose Avenue and Harper Avenue,
Melrose Avenue and Crescent Heights BLVD
Melrose Avenue and Fairfax Avenue,
Melrose Avenue and Poinsettia Place
La Brea Avenue and Clinton Avenue,
la Brea Avenue and Oakwood Avenue,
Beverly Blvd and Poinsettia Place,
Beverly Blvd and Fairfax Avenue,
Beverly Blvd and Crescent Heights Blvd,
Beverly Blvd and Sweetzer Avenu, and
Beverly Blvd and La Cienega Blvd.
