A VERY STRONG AND MOIST PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH IDAHO TODAY AND TONIGHT. EXPECT SNOW ABOVE 7 THOUSAND FEET IN THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS TODAY AND A WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR HIGH ELEVATIONS AND UP TO A FOOT OF SNOW. Current predictions are for 11 to 23 inches of snow accumulation through Tuesday at higher elevations in the Bear Lake region. The valley floor should see mainly rain. The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm warnings for the Salt River, Wyoming Ranges and mountains of Northern Utah.
