On Monday October 25, 2010, the Thurmont Police Department received two (2) reports of Residential Burglary and six (6) reports of ATTEMPTED Burglary. The two homes that were burglarized had a purse stolen from each. The six homes in which a burglary was attempted had their screens cut but no entry was made and nothing was reported stolen. Residential communities in the south eastern part of town was targeted. The Thurmont Police Department is seeking information leading to the identity of suspect(s) in these crimes.
