Hit and Run Collision 
The North Richland Hills Police Department is currently investigating a crash that occurred on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at approximately 10:07 PM injuring a mother and her young child. The driver of a white Nissan 4 door was travelling east bound in the 6600 block of North East Loop 820. The driver of a blue van type vehicle was also east bound directly behind the Nissan. A crash occurred when the blue van struck the rear of Nissan causing it to lose control and strike the interior concrete guard rail. The occupants of the Nissan (29 year old female driver and 5 year old female passenger) were transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. The driver of the blue van continued east bound after failing to stop and render aid or waiting for the arrival of police.
