A public safety checkpoint HAS BEEN conducted in the area of 8900 Block of Greenwood Road/U.S. Highway 80. 
Greenwood Police Department is releasing the following details related to a public safety checkpoint.
The checkpoint was conducted on November 19 and 20 between the hours of 9 PM and 2 AM
Results:
153 motorists came through the checkpoint.
7 field sobriety tests were conducted.
3 dwi arrests were made as a direct result of the checkpoint. A large quantity of suspected synthetic marijuana was also removed from the streets as a result of this checkpoint.
The purpose of the checkpoint was to detect and deter impaired driving.
