Albany Police see an increase in AC theft and damage 
The Theft Unit says they have seen an increase in A/C thefts and damage especially at vacant homes, churches, and rental property. They urge owners to invest in an alarm or surveillance system and to put special markings on the unit’s parts. Thieves are stripping the units for copper and coils.
