A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight.
* Timing... a wintry mix of precipitation will develop over the
area during the morning... with the heaviest precipitation
falling from the late morning through the afternoon. The snow
will taper off during the evening.
* Main impact... freezing rain or freezing drizzle is expected
across most of the area with 1 to 3 inches of snow from west
central into parts of central Minnesota... 1 to 2 inches of sleet
and snow across parts of central and east central
Minnesota... and mainly sleet and freezing rain for south central
into parts of east central Minnesota.
* Other impacts... this wintry mix of precipitation will cause
roads to become slippery during the day on Wednesday resulting
in hazardous travel conditions.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
