Residential Burglary - Suspects Apprehended 
On 11-28-10, at approximately 0750AM, Avondale Estates PD was dispatched to a residential burglary which had just occurred on Kensington Road (3200 block).
Upon arrival, initial investigation revealed that subjects had made forced entry through an office/den window. Subjects, during the theft and once realizing the residents were home, apparently panicked and fled the scene.
A thorough and combined effort by Avondale and DeKalb County PD units resulted in the apprehension of all four suspects in the immediate area. A stolen vehicle used by the suspects and stolen items were recovered as well.
No injuries resulted of the incident. DeKalb PD Crime Scene and AEPD Investigations were requested and responded to the scene. Investigation continues by Avondale Estates PD.
The public is reminded that criminals do not take a holiday. Please remember and practice holiday crime prevention tips. With the community and local law enforcement presenting a team effort, holiday criminal activity may be kept to a minimum.
Residents are requested to contact 911 immediately should they observe suspicious persons or activity. No call is considered "silly" or "foolish." The only silly/foolish call is the call that is not made.
