A winter storm warning for heavy snow is in effect from noon Friday to 6 am cst Saturday. The winter storm watch is no longer in effect.

Significant snow is expected to develop Friday afternoon and continue into Saturday morning. The main impact will be a possible 5 to 8 inches of snow accumulation.
Other impacts, visibility will be greatly reduced in the snow. Travel time may be considerably longer, especially for the Friday evening commute.
