Robbery at ATM - Twin Oaks Plaza 
On 12-05-10, at approximately 3:00PM, Avondale Estates PD officers were dispatched to the Bank of America ATM located in the Twins Oaks Plaza (E. College Ave.) in reference to a robbery.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim who was unharmed, but visibly shaken. The victim stated that she did not notice anyone around the ATM until the ATM dispensed the money. After the money was dispensed she observed the armed perpetrator standing next to her, demanding the funds.
Upon receiving the money, the perpetrator and possibly two addtional suspects (black males) fled the scene in a black, 2 door hardtop vehicle (make, model and tag unknown).
Primary perpetrator described as:
Young black male
slim build
5'9" 150 lbs
Wearing blue jeans and white T-shirt
Weapon appeared black in color, type and make unknown
Area was searched and information broadcasted to local law enforcement agencies.
Citizens are reminded to use caution and be extra observant of persons in and around the immediate area when using the services of an ATM.
