The Columbia Township Police Department is seeking information on an attempted robbery of Marco’s Pizza, 145 Wamplers Lake Road, reported at 9:38 P.M. on Monday, December 6, 2010.

Employees reported a suspect entered the business and demanded cash, while brandishing a knife. Neither victim was injured, and the suspect fled when employees refused his demands.

The suspect is reported as a male, approximately 5’ 8” to 5’ 10” tall, 160-175 lbs. The suspect was wearing a ski-mask at the time, and fled on foot in a southerly direction.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department assisted with units, including a K-9, which ran a track for a short distance. Napoleon Township Police also assisted with the perimeter.
