The Central District saw an increase in Entering Autos and Motor Vehicle Thefts from November 27, 2010 through December 10, 2010.
During the above two week time frame, the district received 12 reports for Entering an Automobile.
7 cases involved unlocked doors.
There were 10 Motor Vehicle Thefts reported during this period. And, in 4 of the cases, the keys were left inside the vehicle while it was running.
