THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO FALL BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO CHRISTMAS EVE... WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOWS FALLING DURING FROM AROUND LATE EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SNOW SHOULD TAPER OFF ON CHRISTMAS MORNING. TWO TO FIVE INCHES OF NEW SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. THE HIGHER SNOW TOTALS ARE MORE LIKELY ALONG AND SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM CRAWFORDSVILLE TO INDIANAPOLIS TO COLUMBUS. FARTHER NORTHEAST ACROSS THE ADVISORY LOWER SNOW TOTALS ARE EXPECTED.
