The following Traffic Message has been issued by the North Castle Police Department On Sunday December 26, 2010 3:30 PM EST
The Current Winter Storm is Causing Deteriorating & Hazardous Road Conditions on all roadways within the Town of North Castle. It is recommended that there is No Unnecessary Travel until this storm clears.
As the winter storm continues to intensify, North Castle Police road patrols & Highway Department units are reporting seriously degraded and hazardous road conditions.
Please do not go out on the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary. If travel is absolutely necessary, please drive with care and leave adequate time to reach your destination.
If you must drive The North Castle OEM recommends that you do not travel alone, and bring emergency equipment to keep warm if you become stranded due to weather. If you are stranded stay with your vehicle Call the police department if possible and await help.
If you are remaining home due to the storm please do not park your vehicle in the town roadway as this will make plowing and opening the roadways more difficult for our highway department crews.
Thank You
