2875 Bergeron Rd, Spring Hope; Man found dead after house fire in Spring Hope. 
On 12-25-10 at 1100 pm, Deputies responded to the address of 2875 Bergeron Rd, Spring Hope in reference to a house fire. Upon arrival, the other victims of the residence stated that one subject was unacccounted for. After the fire was extinguished, fire officials discovered the body of Earl Jay Lucas, 45, in his bedroom, where he was last seen prior to the fire.
The remaining victims have been placed in temporary housing by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire has not been determined, but at this time does not appear to be suspicious.
