Governor Deval Patrick has declared a State of Emergency for Massachusetts. Please see email for more information. 
Massachusetts State of Emergency - In order to protect public safety and facilitate clean-up from the December 26-27 winter storm, Governor Deval Patrick has directed that non-emergency employees who work in the Executive Branch of state government do not have to report to their workplaces on Monday, December 27th.
Private sector employers are encouraged to take similar actions. Those who must travel are encouraged to take public transportation
If you must go out, please remember to give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination. Remember to give your self plenty of distance between vehicles in front of you and plenty of stopping room before intersections.
