National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY from 1am to 7pm on Friday for Hunterdon County

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM EST
FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM
1 AM TO 7 PM EST FRIDAY.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE: SNOW

* ACCUMULATIONS: ON AVERAGE TWO TO THREE INCHES. THERE SHOULD BE A
BAND OF HEAVIER SNOW THAT WILL ACCOUNT FOR MOST OF THE
ACCUMULATING SNOW. THIS SHOULD OCCUR DURING FRIDAY MORNING IN
PENNSYLVANIA AND AS LATE AS EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN NEW JERSEY.

* TIMING: SNOW SHOULD BEGIN AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT IN PENNSYLVANIA
AND SPREAD EAST INTO NEW JERSEY BY FRIDAY MORNING. THE SNOW
SHOULD END AROUND SUNSET FRIDAY.

* IMPACTS: ANY SNOW THAT ARRIVES BEFORE OR DURING THE MORNING
COMMUTE WILL STICK QUICKLY TO UNTREATED ROADWAYS. SNOWFALL RATES
DURING THE HEAVIER BAND COULD REACH AN INCH PER HOUR AND WILL
PRODUCE HIGHLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THE HEAVIEST SNOW MIGHT
COINCIDE WITH THE MORNING COMMUTE, ESPECIALLY IN PENNSYLVANIA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED
VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF
EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF
EXTRA BRAKING DISTANCE BETWEEN YOURSELF AND THE VEHICLES AROUND YOU.
