WEDNESDAY.
* PRECIPITATION TYPE: SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 10 INCHES.
* TIMING: SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM THE SOUTH
FROM JUST PRIOR TO DUSK INTO THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE TONIGHT
BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS OR FLURRIES DURING THE
COURSE OF WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE SNOW WILL BECOME STEADIER AND
HEAVIER TONIGHT.
* IMPACTS: SNOW WILL STICK TO ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY BUT NOT
EXCLUSIVELY UNTREATED ONES. SNOWFALL WILL CAUSE THE VISIBILITY
TO DROP TO ONE-HALF MILE OR LESS FOR A PERIOD OF TIME TONIGHT.
DRIVING WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS. THE EVENING COMMUTE MAY BECOME
SLIPPERY IN SPOTS. THE WEDNESDAY MORNING COMMUTE WILL BE
HAZARDOUS.
* WINDS: AFTER THE SNOWFALL...WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE FROM
THE NORTHWEST AND TURN GUSTY WITH AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW ON WEDNESDAY.
