CAMILLUS, NEW YORK, January 11, 2011 – Chief Thomas M. Winn and Town Supervisor Mary Ann Coogan take great pride in reporting that the Town of Camillus has been selected as a recipient of the Automobile Association of America’s highest Community Traffic Safety Award the (Platinum Award) for 2010. On Tuesday January 11th 2011, Chief Thomas Winn, Captain Steve Rotunno, and Supervisor Mary Ann Coogan represented the Town of Camillus at the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board Awards Luncheon held at the Dinosaur Barbeque in Syracuse.
The Town of Camillus has been a recipient of this prestigious award for the past four years and is one of eight municipalities in New York State that were selected for the platinum award in 2010.
