WOODWAY NOW ENROLLING
FOR 2011 CITIZENS’ POLICE ACADEMY

The Woodway Public Safety Department is currently enrolling participants for the 2011 Citizens’ Police Academy which begins February 24th. The application deadline is February 15th. The new 8 week course is free and will meet every Thursday night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Woodway Public Safety Building at 920 Estates Drive. The goal is to gain a better understanding of police and fire services. The course will conclude with a graduation ceremony in April. Applicants must be 18 years old, reside or own a business in Woodway, pass a background check, and be willing to commit to the program.
