Several unlocked vehicles were entered overnight and valuables stolen in the areas of Valley View Drive and Lindsay Lane.

The trend over the years has been for the thieves to target unlocked vehicles, bypassing locked vehicles for fear of making noise during a break-in and being discovered.

The crimes often occur in sprees, sometimes with the suspects returning to the same profitable area.

We urge residents to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables, thus reducing the opportunity for theft.
