A message from Councilmember Herb Wesson

Dear Neighbor:

This is to provide you with an update on upcoming traffic congestion as a result of the Expo Line construction.

This Friday, January 21st, from 9pm until Saturday, January 22nd until 9pm, Crenshaw Boulevard will be CLOSED at Exposition Boulevard due to final alignment of the tracks at this intersection.

I know this is an inconvenience to travelers and hope this notification will help to alleviate traffic in the area. This temporary closure is necessary to move the project forward in a timely fashion.

Please avoid Crenshaw Boulevard on Friday night and Saturday.

Additionally, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in spreading the word to your neighbors and community stakeholders.

My office will do its best to mitigate any unnecessary inconvenience that will occur with this temporary closure.
