The Town of Chester Police Department is currently holding a VIN etching detail at the Chester Vol Amb Corp (Laroe Rd) today (1/23) from 12pm-3pm. Vin etching is a countermeasure to motor vehicle theft. In addition, most insurance companies offer discounts to their policy holders who have this done.
Trained officers from the Town of Chester Police Department will be on hand to perform the etching.
