Damaged phone cable is currently being repaired in order to restore normal 911 service. 
A significant telephone cable was damaged by construction crews this afternoon which temporarily interrupted 911 service. 911 calls continue to be routed to Euless Police Dept. and then transmitted to Grapevine Dispatch Center. Due to pre-planning and interlocal agreements with neighboring agencies this proved to have a minimal effect on 911 service. A follow up message will be sent when normal 911 service is restored.
