The Village of Brooklyn has declared a snow emergency effective 7 pm Tuesday
February 1, 2011 and continuing through 8 am on Friday, February 4, 2011.
A snow emergency means that no vehicles may be parked on the public streets. This measure is to ensure that our plows and maintenance equipment are able to more easily maneuver throughout the Village and to maintain a clear path for any emergency vehicles. Thus, vehicles parked on Village streets during the snow emergency may be ticketed and towed at the owners expense. For further details and other information about the snow emrgency please visit the Village website at www.villageofbrooklyn.com or call the Village hall at 517-592-2591.
